Ms. Kaprice

Ms. Kaprice is an internationally acclaimed jazz and R&B vocalist, whose accolades include being the 1st National Award-Winning Jazz Vocalist of the NAACP ACT-SO Vocal competition for the Wisconsin branch. She has earned prestigious awards such as the International Outstanding Jazz Vocalist Downbeat Award in 2017 and the International Blues/Pop/Rock 1st Place Vocalist Downbeat Award in 2020.

Her experience includes leading various ensembles and projects, such as the *Ambassador Chicago Residency* (2023-present) and *Ms. Kaprice and Friends* (2023-present). She co-founded *Victor Reid & V.I.P. Live* (2022-present) and continues her collaborations with ACA Entertainment (2022-present). Ms. Kaprice also led a powerful tribute performance, *Honoring The Great Nina Simone*, in April 2024.

Ms. Kaprice’s education includes graduating from Milwaukee High School of the Arts, studying jazz at The School for Music Vocations in Iowa, and furthering her education at MATC. Her diverse work experience includes performing with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (10 years as a violist), Milwaukee Children’s Choir, and teaching at the Milwaukee High School of the Arts Vocal Jazz and Orchestra Ensemble. She has served as an instructor at Guitar Center and a contracted traveling music educator for institutions like St. Benard Parish Catholic and Arts at Large.
